From easter eggs to fan theories, here's everything you need to know about Coraline (the film)

Coraline is by far my favourite movie of all time. Along with shows such as New Girl (such a good show, oh my goodness), Wednesday and The Series of Unfortunate Events (spot the odd one out lol), Coraline is one of my go-to comfort watches. It's dark and creepy, yet somehow whimsical and child-like. I've watched it more times than I can count, and at this point, I know around 45 to 50 minutes of dialogue by heart. I've seen all the behind-the-scenes footage available, gone down rabbit holes of theories online, and done deep dives into the hidden messages, motifs, and themes.

I think it's safe to say that I know the film pretty well.

With all of that in mind, I thought I’d share some of my favourite theories, themes, and random little easter eggs you can find in the film.
